Keeping this requirement in mind, XLRI has conceptualized, developed and evolved a one year consolidated Program in general management for working managers. The objective of this program is to provide the managers with not only a substantial exposure to the theoretical foundations in management but also a holistic perspective of business. This will equip the managers with tools and techniques to perform their task effectively and help them shoulder greater responsibilities in the future as they move up the hierarchy. The amalgamation of proficiency in management education at XLRI and experience brought by the participants from the most diverse fields of work selected through a highly rigorous admission procedure makes General Management Program (GMP) one of its kinds in India.
